This review covers the F109. The F109S is a separate manufacturer listing; do not transfer its specifications to this model.
Research scope: This is a research-based review for Amazon US ASIN B0FZTN9VDY, checked on October 22, 2026. We have not used the phone or tested an IMEI. Manufacturer specifications and seller claims are attributed below. We have not used owner anecdotes to establish performance or failure rates.
Who should avoid the FOSSiBOT F109?
If this will be your main phone, start with the services you cannot afford to lose: calls at home, work messages, navigation and access to essential apps. Until you can establish carrier eligibility and acceptable support terms, we would keep looking.
For an AT&T or Cricket line, the explicit exclusions in the listing are a reason to skip it. A conflicting carrier field elsewhere on the page is not a dependable buying assurance. Amazon carrier information
For long-term ownership, require an update commitment you can evaluate. We did not locate an F109-specific security-support end date or guaranteed number of Android upgrades in the inspected manufacturer material. That uncertainty matters if you intend to keep one phone for several years.
Someone seeking a secondary worksite or outdoor phone may be more willing to investigate it. Even then, a backup needs to perform its intended job. Write down that job first—receiving calls, viewing plans, taking documentation photos or using maps—and check those functions during the return period.
Published specifications and unresolved points
These are documentary observations, not independently verified measurements. The target Amazon ASIN has not been matched to an inspected delivered unit.

Carrier compatibility: check the unit before you pay
Unlocked, supported bands and activation are separate checks
An unlocked label does not settle whether a carrier will accept a phone or whether the features you need will work. Verizon’s official BYOD guidance, for example, requires an unlocked device with compatible hardware and software. Verizon BYOD requirements
For the F109, the retailer information needs particular care. Amazon’s carrier table names AT&T, while the product bullets exclude AT&T and Cricket and name T-Mobile. FOSSiBOT’s global specifications also exclude AT&T/Cricket activation. Amazon · FOSSiBOT specifications

| Carrier | Listing says | Missing evidence | Next step |
|---|---|---|---|
| AT&T / Cricket | Bullets exclude both; table names AT&T | A consistent approval for the exact unit | Skip this listing for either service on current evidence |
| T-Mobile | Seller names it | Actual-unit IMEI acceptance, calling features and coverage | Use the carrier checker; test your locations |
| Verizon | No current approval established here | Compatible hardware/software and actual-unit acceptance | Obtain a carrier decision before buying |
| MVNO | No exact operator/plan approval established | Operator-specific acceptance and feature support | Ask the MVNO; do not infer from its host network |

A band list is only part of the answer
FOSSiBOT’s published NR SA list includes n41 but does not list n71 or n25. T-Mobile’s published network table identifies those latter bands among its 5G frequencies. Our inference: the advertised list does not establish full T-Mobile band coverage. It is not a radio test of the Amazon unit. FOSSiBOT bands · T-Mobile frequencies
Use T-Mobile’s official IMEI checker for the actual device, and confirm whether voice service and Wi-Fi calling meet your needs. We have not submitted an F109 IMEI or obtained an approval result.
If the seller cannot provide the unit identifier before shipment, establish whether you can return the phone after the necessary compatibility checks. Once it arrives, test ordinary calls, text messages and mobile data at the locations where you depend on it. Do this before moving essential responsibilities to the phone.
Main and rear displays: what is established?
The HD+ and FHD+ claims conflict
FOSSiBOT specifies a 6.745-inch, 720×1600 HD+ main screen. Amazon advertises FHD+ and presents a different resolution in its product fields. We cannot confirm which specification applies to the shipped ASIN from those conflicting entries. Manufacturer screen specification · Amazon display fields
If you expect to read small labels on plans, inspect photos or spend hours viewing text, ask for written confirmation of the screen resolution. Do not pay a premium based on an unresolved FHD+ claim.
We also have not established this unit’s refresh rate or measured brightness. For outdoor work, ask to see the information you actually need on screen in daylight during the return period. A readable indoor product photo cannot answer that question.
What the rear screen is advertised to do
FOSSiBOT advertises a 1.32-inch rear display for functions including notifications, music controls and a timer or clock. It also promotes rear-camera selfies. Manufacturer feature description · F109 product page
Treat those as features to check. Decide whether the apps you use display useful information and whether controls remain practical with your normal grip and work setup. We have not tested notification coverage, responsiveness or battery savings.
A secondary screen can be interesting without being a reason to accept uncertainty about the main one.

A large battery also means a large phone
FOSSiBOT lists a 10,600mAh battery and 18W charging. Those are published ratings; we do not have a measured runtime or full-charge duration. Manufacturer battery and charging ratings
For someone prioritizing battery life, the useful question is whether the phone completes a normal day with enough reserve. Decide which tasks define that day, then check them under your own conditions while a return remains possible. Do not schedule a remote trip around an unverified endurance claim.
Our fast-charging trade-off guide explains why a power rating cannot supply a complete charging result. Charging needs a similar practical check. If you depend on a short charging window between shifts, ask for credible measurements or allow time to evaluate the supplied charging setup. We cannot tell you how many minutes a particular top-up will provide.
The manufacturer lists the phone at approximately 385g and 18.5mm thick. Its advertised box contents include an 18W charger and USB-C cable, but we have not confirmed the exact Amazon bundle or plug. FOSSiBOT dimensions and package contents
Before ordering, compare the dimensions and weight with something you already carry. Think about pocket fit, a vehicle mount and one-handed access. A large phone that stays in a bag may be a poor match for a job that requires frequent quick checks.
RAM and storage: read beyond “24GB”
The manufacturer’s RAM breakdown is 8GB physical RAM plus up to 16GB of virtual expansion, alongside 256GB of UFS storage and advertised TF expansion up to 2TB. We have not confirmed the phone’s UFS version. Manufacturer memory specification
Our virtual RAM guide explains the distinction. Evaluate it as an 8GB physical-RAM phone. The combined marketing number is not evidence that it behaves like a device with that much physical memory, and we have no measurements showing what expansion changes on this model.
FOSSiBOT names the Dimensity 6300. Some Amazon wording adds a plus sign, while CPU-clock fields also disagree with the inspected specifications. We are not treating those entries as proof of an upgraded chip. Manufacturer chipset listing · Amazon
MediaTek’s platform specifications describe capabilities available to device makers. They do not prove that the F109 implements every supported display or storage feature, or establish its sustained gaming performance. MediaTek Dimensity 6300 For the broader decision, read our smartphone processor specification guide.
For work use, make a short app checklist. Try opening a plan, taking a photo and returning to the app you were using. For gaming, seek measurements for this exact model and software before buying; a chip name and virtual-RAM figure cannot supply them.
Also check the tray arrangement. The manufacturer specifies two nano-SIMs or one nano-SIM plus a TF card. If you need two lines and expandable storage together, that advertised shared-slot arrangement is a limitation. F109 card-slot specification
Camera, rugged claims and software support
Camera numbers do not settle documentation quality
The manufacturer lists a 50MP rear camera, 5MP macro camera and 16MP front camera. We have not verified image quality, stabilization behavior or video results. Manufacturer camera specification
If the phone will document deliveries, damage or job progress, test representative tasks. Can you read the photographed label? Is an indoor detail clear enough for the intended recipient? Ask for original files from the exact model if those tasks influence your purchase.
We have not presented owner reviews here because we have not completed a model-and-variant-matched assessment of individual reports. There is no basis in this review for a failure-rate claim.
Rugged claims do not establish repair coverage
FOSSiBOT advertises IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H. We have not inspected the underlying test reports or independently tested those claims. Manufacturer ruggedness claims
Its published warranty exclusions include accident damage, unauthorized repair and damage associated with excessive liquid exposure. Read the applicable conditions before treating protection branding as a repair promise. FOSSiBOT warranty exclusions
For a worksite buyer, ask where a damaged unit would go, who pays shipping and what happens while it is away. We have not confirmed an F109 repair price, turnaround time or spare-parts commitment. There is no evidence here supporting a five-year durability promise.
Before buying: Our IP68 and water-damage warranty guide explains why a protection claim and repair coverage need separate checks.
Long-term ownership needs a support plan
The manufacturer lists Android 14 for the F109. That does not tell us the patch level on a unit shipped today or establish its remaining update lifetime. Manufacturer software specification
Use our long-term phone ownership guide to compare support and repair commitments. Before using it as a long-term main phone, request the latest firmware and security-patch information, the planned support period and any guaranteed Android upgrades. Missing public detail is not proof that updates have stopped; it does leave a question the buyer cannot resolve from these sources.
Price, returns, alternatives and the buying decision
We could not verify a dependable current Amazon delivered price, eligible coupon or destination-specific stock state. This review therefore makes no claim that the F109 is good value at a particular price.
Check the selected seller, taxes, shipping and final total together. A price from another store cannot establish what this Amazon offer costs.
The retrieved Amazon offer information described a 30-day return route, but its page also contained unavailable-offer messaging. Confirm the terms attached to your actual order. FOSSiBOT’s global warranty page publishes a 24-month period; coverage and repair arrangements for this Amazon purchase remain unconfirmed. Amazon offer information · Manufacturer warranty
A five-year banner on the US store should not fill that gap: its detailed policy is limited to that store’s orders and lists power products. It does not establish five-year F109 coverage. US-store warranty scope

| Your situation | Fit or downside | Decision | Required condition |
|---|---|---|---|
| AT&T / Cricket buyer | Seller/manufacturer exclusions | Avoid this listing on current evidence | Do not use the conflicting AT&T field as assurance |
| Main phone | Essential calls and apps depend on acceptance/support | Pause | Resolve carrier and support questions |
| Secondary outdoor/work phone | May fit a narrow task if bulk is acceptable | Consider further checks | Confirm the task, screen, carrier, price and returns |
| Battery-first buyer | Rated capacity is not measured runtime | Investigate conditionally | Get runtime evidence or a practical return route |
| Needs documented long-term support | No F109-specific commitment located | Choose documented support unless clarified | Obtain written update and service terms |
| Camera- or gaming-first buyer | No measured result supports a recommendation | Withhold recommendation | Seek exact-model tests and original camera files |
Source check: October 22, 2026. Manufacturer specifications · Target listing · Warranty policy
For alternatives, compare the requirement the F109 has not yet satisfied: a mainstream unlocked phone with documented carrier/support terms, or another rugged model with a clear service route. We have not checked current competing offers, so we are not naming a price winner.
Verdict: Consider the F109 only if the actual unit is accepted by your intended carrier, the screen specification is clarified, and the advertised size fits your use. Confirm the delivered price and a workable return and warranty route. On the current evidence, we would skip this listing for AT&T/Cricket and would not recommend it for buyers requiring a documented long-term update commitment or verified camera, gaming and battery results. A value verdict remains withheld.
